With Robots From Sivas A Turnover Of 100 Million Euros Will Be Reached By 2030
TEZMAKSAN, one of the leading companies in Turkey's machining industry, has officially opened its factory located in the Sivas Nuri Demirağ Organized Industrial Zone. The factory, designed in line with Industry 4.0 and the dark factory concept, will produce 300 CubeBOX units annually on a single-shift basis.
Tezmaksan, which has been a solution partner to Turkey's industry for over 40 years, officially opened its new factory, which was initiated two years ago. The factory, covering an area of 53,000 square meters, will be the first in Turkey to manufacture a wide range of products, from 8-axis turning centers to new-generation CNC models, all produced in Sivas. Products from the Sivas factory will be exported to 40 different countries.
Speaking at the opening, Tezmaksan's Chairman of the Board, Mustafa Aydoğdu, stated, "If the company we established with great enthusiasm 43 years ago is now a source of pride in its industry and honors us with the value it adds to our country's economy, then every effort, every drop of sweat, has a significant contribution. As a Turkish entrepreneur, I continue to work with the same enthusiasm from my youth, determined to benefit my homeland. Elevating the values this country has provided us is a testament to our loyalty. With our Sivas factory, we are entrusting the legacy we've inherited to future generations who will carry it forward and beyond. I wholeheartedly support them in combining the determination they inherit from us with their drive to benefit the land they were born on."
Tezmaksan Group CEO Hakan Aydoğdu added, "Considering the training, learning, and commissioning processes, we have manufactured a total of 70 CubeBOX units since last October, when serial production began, and we aim to increase this to 150 units by the end of the year with increased capacity. Starting next year, we plan to produce 300 CubeBOX units annually on a single-shift basis. We designed and implemented our production system in our factory using lean production techniques, aligning with value stream efforts, and in accordance with the dark factory concept under Industry 4.0. Standard tasks are handled by industrial robots, and material flows in our internal logistics are managed by autonomous mobile robots (AMR). Additionally, we currently have 16 employees, including three white-collar and 13 blue-collar workers."
Aydoğdu emphasized that the Sivas factory was designed and implemented with the latest technologies and manufacturing techniques, stating, "Our factory has been designed to receive LEED certification in line with the European Green Deal and environmental sustainability principles, and we have also positioned our factory in Istanbul as an R&D center. Our factory is equipped with a highly advanced quality-measurement and testing room featuring precise technological measurement devices. We did not design this facility solely for our own products; we also aim to meet the needs of nearby industrial establishments, with the goal of becoming an Accredited Quality Laboratory. Our primary goal is to continue producing high-value-added products with our advanced technology and to contribute to Turkey's economy by reaching our target of 100 million euros in revenue by 2030.
